Hey,im looking for the same bios for Syntax SV400.

Hice downgrade a la bios por la versión nM916.bin (buscala en driversguide como: SV266M_RealTek.zip) y NO! SV266M_ICS.zip porque luego de flashear no arranca mas.

Try F1.

With the computer turned-off, hold-down the SPACE BAR.
Turn the computer on, until you get "keyboard error, press <blah> to enter BIOS-setup". Press the <blah> key.

In motherboards of this age the max hdd capacity is limited by the BIOS at 127 GB. Install one only if you can get an updated/unlimited BIOS before.

The Syntax-Brillian Corporation maker of the SV266M Motherboard, In May of 09 all assets were acquired by Emerson Radio Corp. Now, I don't think Emerson is going to support that motherboard, however, you can can most of your drivers, from HERE. You may need to create a login, but I'm pretty sure they will have what your looking for.

Hey, It seems you have downloaded the wrong driver package. There are difrent drivers for eatch type of card. Ati radeon 9700, ati radeon 2600 pro, ati radeon 2400. All have difrent drivers and you need to download the correct ones.

as you will probably know Syntax boards are no longer, but are more or less the same as PC Chips boards, but sv2661 is rather old and is not supported on the pc chips site so you can download the last bios update from the link below and instructions on how it's done. http://www.computer-help.net/Syntax-SystemBoard-SV266a-Bios-Upgrade.htm

Hey Mate, the fault is caused by the base unit not sending a signal to the monitor. most likely cause Graphics Card or Memory. if you remove one at a time and replace them back in the motherboard usually fixes the problem. All the best John
