How do i transfer pictures from camera to computer?

I don't understand why you would want to transfer pictures from the computer to the camera. Normally you transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. But, if you really want to restore pictures to your camera's memory, you can remove the SD memory card from your camera and transfer the pictures on any computer equipped with an SD card reader/writer. These devices are built into most Apple computers, many PC's and are available as USB accessories for all other computers. I have seen them for under $20. When you connect the device and insert your camera's SC card, your computer will recognize the card and treat it as if it were another hard drive. You will be able to read or write or drag and drop picture files just as you would with any other file on your computer. By the way; most professional photographers use this method to transfer there photos rather then transferring them using a USB cable from the camera.

The camera is designed to capture pictures for ultimate transfer to a computer. It's not really intended to receive pictures from a computer. Thus the camera's data transfer capabilities are designed to go one way. To go the other way you need to use some other device, such as a card reader.

Be aware that if the pictures were taken by a different camera, or have been edited in any way, then the camera may not display the pictures. Opening a picture in a photo editing program and saving it without making any changes counts as editing.

When you connect your Nikon camera to your computer some program is automatically loading up and then transferring your pictures over. If you haven't deleted the picture from your camera then reconnect your camera back to your computer. Follow the same steps you did the first time but watch the screen carefully. there might not be a way of transferring picture within the camera. However the SD card _should_ have resolved the memory full issue. Plug the camera into a computer with its USB cable. Transfer the pictures to the computer and delete them off the internal memory. Assure that your SD memory card is functional by trying it in another camera or in the slot on a computer.

hey, yes you can transfer pictures from the computer to your camera...you take the memory card from your camera and insert it in your computer (if you do not have the slot to insert the memory card you cannot transfer pictures) thn sync pictures to the memory card and then insert memory card back into camera.
