I just recently bought an iPod hook-up so i can listen to my ipod in my car, but it says i have to go to the menu and put it on "Auxillary" mode, and i can't find out how to get to the menu
From the main menu (where you choose RADIO, DVD, USB), look below at the smaller buttons. One of those is AUX. If you have the right hook-up (Pioneer CD-i200), then you should be able to use the IPOD option instead of the AUX. This can be found at http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_8599_Pioneer+CD-i200.html for $19.00

sure. you can listen to it. as soon as you hook it up to your computer, with your itunes account, its going to erase the music on there and put in your playlist. so if you like it, dont hook it up to a computer to charger, use a wall plug.
Yes you are correct. You could listen to Radio on iPod classic 120GB.You can listen to radio using the optional iPod Radio Remote accessory for iPod classic.iPod Radio Remote attaches to iPod classic using the Dock connector cable. When you’re using iPod Radio Remote, you see a Radio menu item on the iPod classic main menu.
You can also look at the manual that would have all information. You can View it from :-
Hi guys, just figured out how to hook up your Ipod to the above mentioned stereo, Here is how...
- Put your stereo in STBY mode, then push the menu button, scroll up or down and you get different options to change clock and AUX settings, my AUX was OFF and I had to select ON. Now you can push your Sorce button (the one that puts the stereo in STBY) and you will have the AUX option this will allow you to play your MP3 players and Ipods. ENJOY!
I spent a few hours looking for this very explination so I hope this saves the rest of you some time. Safe driving.
After you eject if from the computer and it locks up press and hold the center button while pressing down on the menu button. This will reboot the IPod. What charger are you using? Is the charger plugged into a usb hub or does it get power from an electrical outlet?
I have my ipod hooked through my receiver, what I did was bought a cord that plugs into the place where you put you headphones and on the other end it has RCA jacks and plug up into you AUX and it should work good thats how I listen to my ipod really loud.
Are you downloading podcast videos or audio files?
Also, do you have your iPod to sync manually or automatically? Change it to manually if it is auto, then you can put the podcasts from your library onto your podcast folder on the ipod in iTunes.
EACH TIME YOU HOOK UP TH EIPOD IT REINSTALLS ALL THE EXISTING SONGS ALONG WITH NEW ONES. YOU CANNOT DELETE THEM AFTER YOU INSTALL THEM OR THEY WILL ALL BE DELETED THE NEXT TIME YOU HOOK IT UP.
