Weld not detected - Printronix P7210 Matrix Printer

Arc welding is any welding process that uses electricity, which includes MIG, TIG, and SMAW. SMAW Shielded metal arc welding is most commonly referred to as stick arc welding. In SMAW welding the stick electrode contains a flux that keeps the atmosphere from contacting and contaminating molten metal. It is a good choice for welding thicker metals. It is a manual process, that is hard to get a hand of. yet once done. MIG welding is a semi-automated process that is a much better option to use on thinner metals. It is easier to get hang of than SMAW welding. A welding MIG wire is used in the MIG welding process. TIG welding is the hardest as compared to SMAW & MIG welding. It is capable of producing an autogenis weld which is one does not use any filler. These are some differences in arc welding processes.

Not the best news but i would say call Miller and see what they tell you to do.

BE CAREFUL. That sucker is hot and you have current going through it! If you get a voltmeter you will detect the juice.

It is the weld processor PCB that detects the weld.

Ribbon weld needs to be replaced.

Like the problem is not by the user fix it. Check the ribbon, check visually all about it is good.

The cartridge weld was not detected.
1.Clear the fault message.
2.If message persists, replace the cartridge.
3.If necessary, replace the weld sensor.

you have a wire that touch to the housing of the tool
or the windings of the motor, a brush holder have a default isolation
this type of circuit breaker is disconnected when it detects a curent flowing through the ground

Mig will be fine.

sounds like govenor is not functioning properly.
amp draw should engage unit out of idle with engine at normal operation temp.
