Will not come on

Makes a crackling sound in the speakers when plugged in, even when the speaker wire is unplugged from it.  Has a faint flashing in the screen like it wants to come on.  I unplugged everything from pc and left only monitor plugged in, same thing.

The little light by the power button does not come on.  For several months prior to this if you just barely touched the power button it would turn the monitor off or on.

I have a Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Models PA 40 BATBT That gets no sound? How can I diagnose this problem?

The symptoms you described suggest that there may be several possible issues with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Here are some steps to diagnose the problem:
  1. Check the battery: Ensure that the battery is fully charged or replace it with a new one if needed. If the battery is old or worn out, it may not provide enough power to the speaker, causing the crackling sound.
  2. Check the connections: Make sure that all cables and connections are properly plugged in and secured. Loose connections can cause crackling sounds or no sound at all.
  3. Check the volume: Turn up the volume on both the speaker and the device connected to it (such as a phone or tablet) to see if that resolves the issue. If the volume is too low, it may result in no sound or faint sound.
  4. Test the mic and instrument input: Try connecting a different microphone or instrument to the speaker to see if the problem is with the original mic or instrument. If the new mic or instrument works, then the issue is likely with the original device.
  5. Check the speaker components: If none of the above steps work, there may be an issue with the speaker's components. It's best to bring the speaker to a professional technician or authorized service center for repair.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you diagnose and resolve the issue with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker.

Is it normal for a microwave to make crackling noises when standing and not in use but plugged in ?

The crackling (which sounded a little like a geiger counter) which I could hear when the oven was NOT running was coming from the speaker (where the beeps come from). I unplugged the oven, found the little speaker on the circuit board, yanked one of the wires off of it, and the crackling was be gone.

I have a pioneer 2din deck and it sounds bad. it sounds like the speakers are blown and makes a crackling sound. I have replaced the speakers and it still sounds bad. I don't even have a amp

Make sure the positive and negative wires for the speakers are correctly(not reversed) and securely attached to the mounted speakers and the speaker outlet wires on the deck

My logitech s-120 speakers crackle very loudly sometimes. At first I thought it was the sound card in my old PC, but when I switched to a brand new Mac computer the problem continued, making me think the...

hi there,
The problem is actually from the speakers themselves. If it's not a year old you might want to bring it back to the store where you purchased it for a warranty repair or replacement.
Sadly the problem is inside the speaker and it could be a loose connection inside. If you're comfortable enough you can try to open the speakers and check inside for any loose wires which cause unstability of sound or for any loosed fittings from the magnet.
Hope this helps!

Boston BA790 Subwoofer Making Strange Noises

I just took my sub apart and found that the surround on the driver speaker inside the sub was totally crumbled and lying in pieces throughout the sub box.

I'm looking around now for specs on the sub speaker so I can find a replacement.

Crackling sound

That sounds like an internal fault on your Bose system.

Leave the Bose unplugged from power and from computer for one hour, to get rid of electrostatic charges accumulated inside capacitors.
If that does not get rid of the problem, then there is an internal fault, either a short on speaker wiring, or a fault on the internal amp circuit board.
