I have an Apex rear projection TV, model number GB43HD10. I was watching it and the picture got wide then narrow and then it shut down. I have tested the fuses and they are good but the unit won't power up. Can you suggest a course of action other than buying a new TV?

I have the same set, about a year into owning it went black, power light but no picture, still under warrenty and ended up being the main board, they replaced and has worked well since, these tvs are sensative to spikes over the cable line, I got a really good cable surge protector after it was fixed.

The circuit board on the right hand side is either cracked or the soldering came loose, I took mine apart and found it by mistake, everytime I pulled up the board i had picture again, so I propped up the board with some dumb-dumb and it has still been working, there are no parts for this TV
