Read the instructions.
My new replacement bags have the instructions right one one side of the bag itself. or if you have the book read the instructions.
Mine is a Kenmore Whisper tone but not 300 so I won't pass on my instructions but my bags fit different Whisper tone Vacs.
don'thave to smell, the belt just snapped in half.unplug the vacuum and try to turn the brush roller by hand,if it turns real freely the belt is broke.it should be kind of hard to turn by hand if the belt was good
That actually sounds correct, if it's the model I'm thinking of. As long as you're talking about connecting to the wires that are held in by the wire nuts you should be good to go.
it is posible you do not need the other wires have you replaced the original switch for the same or similar some of these switches have lights on could this explain the extra wires? also vacumcleaners sometimes have interferance surpresors they work fine without these but they interfear with tvs etc if not fitted mabe its missing?
If this uses a cogged belt, it should not fall off unless it is the wrong one. Give me the whole model #, then I can look and see what you have. The number of the power head is needed.
Go to this website
and enter your complete model number in the search field in the upper
right corner of the page. You should be able to view a parts diagram
that will provide some clues about how to disassemble the handle.
