Won't print or copy (looks like it's out of ink or cartridge is jammed)

I love my printer/copier, but is it time for a new printer?? The black cartridge acts like it's jammed. I tried two new cartridges and get nothing but a few spots of ink, whether copying or printing. Any guess where the problem is??

I tried printing a test page, but no luck. At this point I'm getting nothing either when printing or copying, and I've tried 2 new cartridges...what else could it be?

My printer states "paper jam" although I don't see any paper. I bought new ink cartridges & it doesn't print the multi-color, only the black.

Paper jam means just that. Look for paper or a piece of paper jammed into a gear or stuck between a roller or even in your ink cartridge . When you put in your new ink did you take off the protective seal and run the HP software to check if it is reading the Cartridge ,You might want to read the instruction on how to install an ink cartridge. It might also help you ?

Why won't my Lexmark 5600- 6600 Series Printer print in color?

It could be the print setting on the application where you're printing from. Before you send your print job and hit "Print" button on your computer, check in the Printing Preferences and make sure it is not set to print "Using black ink only.".

Put brand new lexmark 28 cartridge just 4 days ago. Maybe used 10 times. Computer says ink is low and won't print anymore. However, can still make copies.

It could be just a slight communication failure between your cartridges and the printer. Try to re-seat the cartridges by removing and re-inserting them into the cartridge carrier.
I hope this helps.

Black ink cartridge

You all need a new printhead. If the eyes on the demo sheet (copy and photo at the same time) are coming out all white and they look like zombies the black text isn't working properly. Try cleaning the printhead. If that doesn't work, call kodak, you need a new printhead.
