Good morning. I have a 3 year old Frigidaire dishwasher. The top rack roller broke, upon removign it, I realized the hole for hte roller screw is stripped, and thus the screw wont tighten and the roller won't stay in place to hold the top rack. It screws into plastic, great idea Frigidaire! any suggestions? thanks!!
1)make certain all is clean and very dry
2)apply gorilla glue into stripped plastic hole and insert screw.
3)rig something up to keep it from moving for 6 hours or so
careful gorilla has a nasty habbit of pretty much destroying clothes and staining skin so be carefull. don't get carried away when applying it and maybe set down a disposable rag to catch drips.
but it is very permanent. Its what I would do

they are a vivration attenuator and yes are spacer too, but are a little dificult to mount if the machine are working well ok leaved like that but check every coples of month for a loose screew.....good luck and rate me

Mine also started leaking. Element also too hot. Mine has a 20 year warrenty on the tub (which I was NOT aware of) Repairman came today and the whole tub unit and element will be fixed for free! Look in your whirlpool instruction book to see if yours is warrentied. BTW, my dishwasher is only three years old.

Sounds like you have 1 of 2 problems. Either your pump is clogged or you need a bigger drain loop.

replace the top spray arm and it should work ok again

Make sure the spout leading into the top spray arm is not obstructed at all. Maybe simplistic, but could be overlooked. Just thought I'd put it out there.
