no. It won't respond with or without the battery. I've tried multiple power cords as well

My dx200 doesn't want to power on when i plug it in. IT just flashes the red POWER?light and the fans inside won't spin at all.

You should try to service it first. The most important part of a service is to change the turmal compound. After 3 month the compound gets hard and starts to strain the cpu up to the point that the cpu dont turn on .

I was surfing the internet,All the sudden my acer made a noise and went dead,Now it does nothing no power indicater light, totally dead..

That noise was caused by the failure of the power circuits from the mainboard. This is a major failure - the entire mainboard will have to be replaced. For that you must take it to a repair shop, this isn't something you can fix.

Compaq nx6320 won't power up

Replace your battery Some laptops don't boot up when no battery is present even it is connected directly on the power supply. Or if not to visit your nearest HP service center. If its still with warranty, use it.

Good luck kabayan. ^_~

Totally dead

unplug the power from the back, take out the batteries, and push the power button for 5 to 6 seconds. Wait about a minute, then put the batteries back in and plug in the back

Dead laptop

Check the ac adapter is the proper one for that laptop. Check the power jack is not damaged or loose. let laptop site without battery or power for a few hours. remove battery and retry power. try another ac adapter if that doesn't work, you may have a reset button but not likely to solve the problem. sounds like motherboard is damaged, or something blew.
