Deleted photos i copyed to card, found out it did not work. i also deleted from the camera can i get them back!

Was trying to learn more about my digital camera,following along with the manual,and deleted all the pictures! I'm devastated! My husband was in the hospital for 5 months and they are of him and all our family. I've cried for two days.PLEASE-PLEASE HELP!
