Hi, UNPLUG YOUR ROUTER (BUT KEEP IT ON ) AT THE BACK OF THE ROUTER ,THERE IS A RED SMALL RESET BUTON,,USING A PIN OR BALLPEN PRESS IT AND HOLD IT FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS, NOW CONNECT THE ROUTER AS IT WAS BEFORE. Check these Steps . 1.
Click Wireless from the menu on the left side of the screen.
2. The Home > Wireless screen appears.
Let's look at each of these fields in detail.
Wireless Radio: by default, the wireless radio is on. To turn off the radio and disable all wireless functions, select Disabled.
SSID: This is the name of the WLAN. By default, the SSID name is default. This field can be used to either connect to a pre-existing WLAN or create a new WLAN.
Channel: this field displays the current wireless channel. The default setting is channel 1. You can have the router automatically select the best channel to use by selecting the Auto Select option.
Proceed to the next step to learn about the remaining fields.
3. Mode Setting: If your network is using only 802.11g devices, set this option to G Mode. Otherwise, set this option to Mix Mode.
SSID Broadcast: Select Enabled to broadcast the SSID from the SSID field to the entire network.
Security: From this drop-down list, select the type of security (WEP, WPA, and WPA2) you wish to enable for the network. The default setting is Disable. See the WEP & WPA Setup walk through for more details on setting up security.
Click the Apply button to apply any changes you make
SOURCE: Vonage does not work with D-Link router
If you plugged a telephone into your D-link router, unplug it - that can not work!
You have to plug your vonage router (WAN port) into the D-Link (LAN port) and connect your phone to one of the LAN ports of the vonage router.
If you do not need the wireless capabilities of the D-Link, you can simply take that one out and only use your vonage router.
If you need more help, I would need more details form you:
Which vonage adapter are you using?
How is your setup (i.e. modem -> D-link -> vonage & computers)
What connections are you using (wire/wireless)?
You can also find help here.

If no power lights come on... it looks bad, but try another power adapter on the router before tossing it... could be that.

please call dlink tech support at 877-453-5465. just an advise on how to handle the call when you reach dlink tech support (agent); do not agree to call back after you troubleshoot with them (they'll be giving you a case id reference# and be advising you to check your pc or call "who" and call them back to continue the troubleshooting). insist to the agent that he need to resolve the problem asap (by the way, agents are not allowed to drop the call or they'll be dead-history!). and if the agent still insisted you to call back, ask for a "senior level technician" to finish the job (escalate the problem).
fyi: dlink tech support handling time to resolve a call is 15 to 18 minutes only. if you reach that 15-18 minutes (max) time the agent will think of a way for you to call back (advising you to check with your pc manufacturer, check with your ISP, call microsoft to update your software, etc... non-sense!) they need to do this in order to reach their handling time (agents need to reach 21 to 25 billable calls, and billable calls are "solution provided", "resolved", and "dropped call"). ---- believe me, i was one of them and repented.

hi
firstly check to see if the wireless is set for wireless access based on MAC address filtering
also check to see if both the laptop and the wifi router are communicating on the same channel
