Bose companion 2 sound cuts out

no sound at all it was working fine before i got additional speakers creative sarrounding withe 2 mini and 1 sub buffer how to test it its just not comming on now

control panel sounds and audio,audio make necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow? right click re-install drivers

i hav the same problem but all three shut off ,and i have to shut off and turn on again

mcdevito75 here, The HP speakers that came with your computer work fine, the bose speakers work fine on your other computer, the plug on the Bose speakers is a little shorter than the HP speakers, and only the right Boss speaker is working, HMM, Check the Bose speakers, both of them for a volume control 1 of them may need adjustment on this particular computer. If that"s not it, I would speak to a Radio Shack, Staples etc.

you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers,or also try to update it

check if the volume control needs to be replaced. volume controls gets bad in due time coz of the carbon layer which gets thinner and thinner till it gets cut off

try reinstalling the software for them then make sure your sound card drivers are installed properly

Are you using the usb cable to power the speakers?

My puppy chewed through the cord for my a/c adapter, I just took the speakers into Circuit City, and they found me a workable replacement (the replacement isn't BOSE, but it works just fine).  Hope that helps!
