The fact it is burning propane doesn't make and difference. It is still a gas furnace and the only difference is the size of the jets.

The second image in this link shows a blue wire on the control board.

The blue wire from the Ac goes to the y2 on the board for the furnace the yellow and brown goes to c on the board for the furnace and the last wire goes to y1 on the board for the furnace

If the gas valve is reversed the gas will flow freely. Make sure it is facing the right direction. If that is good then I would check for power to the valve. If it is energized constantly then it will flow freely. My best guess is there was a wire misplaced and your pilot is energized. Check the wiring diagram and trace the wires to. Confirm.

You need to get the wiring diagrams both for the actual gas furnace and for the thermostat and LABEL each wire so you know where to START!!! Go to the furnace manufacturer web site and request the wiring diagram and sequence chart. Go to the thermostat manufacturer on line and request an owner's manual...

some FURNACE has the diagram inside of COVERS , please to see behind the covers. However if do not appear please give the mark, model and type of furnace gas or electric

You need to find out if the problem is in the T-stat, T-stat wire or in the furnace you can do this in a few easy steps

 

Step 1- Unwire the low voltage from the furnace. Then turn the power back on and see if the blower comes on if it does then the problem is in the furnace and you will need to troubleshoot the furnace (see bottom of page for troubleshooting furnace) if it does not then proceed to step 2

 

Step 2- Wire the low voltage back up to the furnace (follow the wiring diagram below). And unwire the T-stat, make sure that no wires are touching each other, then turn the power back on to the furnace, if the blower starts then you have a short in the T-stat wire and you will need to pull a new wire. If it does not then proceed to step 3

 

Step 3- Turn the power back off at the furnace and wire the T-stat back up (follow the wiring diagram below). Turn the T-stat to auto heat 90 if the heat does not start but the blower just runs then you need to replace the T-stat.
