Canon mp30s cartridge jammed

  • canon mp360s is permanently saying 'cartridge jammed press ok key' when i press ok nothing happened and it will not bring along the cartridges to change them

    I have the same problem - with no apparent cause. I have cleaned everything I can see to clean, the cartridge does move freely across the printer - I have managed to print two to three lines of a page before it "jams" again. Tried switching off, logging off the PC - all to no avail.

    My Multipass mp360 all-in-one printer cartridge is also jammed where its indicated the siganl on the screen that the cartidge is jammed and it will not move to the middle it will just be stuck and make a sound alert that it is jammed. What is the solution that can be solved to repair this problem.

Since making my query post my husband seems to have solved the problem. I first tried the solution offered here for another printer model (remove then replace actual print head unit with the cartridges intact) but that didn't help. So my husband put a small amount of WD40 (also known as CRC) on the slide bar that the print head moves along. That seems to have freed everything up.

Changing ink cartridge
Here is how to get the ink cartridges to move to the changing position on the R320.

1. Press the paper jam/ink button on the printer control panel.
2. A menu comes up. 1st item is ink cartridge replacement. Press
OK button.
3. Another menu with ink cartridge replacement. Press OK button.
4. Thats it, ink cartridges move to the changing position. Change your cartridge as you normally would and follow prompts on screen to finish process.

yes you should
Most of the canon printers works only with canon cartredges and the canon company ends the warranty agreement when discovering that.

my advice: use the better quality and the Original ink (Canon Cartredges).

problem reading card in canon mp360 this printer was bought in japan it has no built in card reader and previously it has a japanese texts on the LCD, but installing its driver for windows 7 it became english, but unfortunately it malfunctioned. It can't scan, can't print nor copy.The power button is not responding, when i plugged it in I need to unplug just to turn it off, when the LCD loaded the message appeared "DATA ERROR, PRESS SET KEY" but any key is not responding aside from the left arrow or the minus sign where it will appear a message saying Please wait... then a message again appeared "PROBLEM READING CARD TURN OFF AND ON" but still the power button does not respond. And when I press the Scan button a Date of "01/01/2068 SUN 00:00, FaxTel, STANDARD" appeared then will ask for Tel. When I press the copy button an asterisk will appear continually as I press copy button. I thought I just need to buy a new INK CART. but that didn't worked. Can you tell what is wrong with it? I hope somebidy can help me, thanks in advance...
