Hi. The timer (when drying) on this 8yo Washer Dryer runs fast. I have tried different settings both synthetic and cotton, auto and manual timer - but even if I put it on the maximum time (2hrs10mins) the clock runs fast. I sat there and watched for a few minutes and noticed the clock/timer runs down faster, with each minute only taking around 15 to 17 seconds. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm not sure if it's a 'user error', we've only just moved into a newly rented property, so unsure if I'm doing something wrong or if it's a fault or even if it's ever worked before. I can't find anything online so far, or in the manual. Thank you,

Check to see if your machine is connected to cold water, it should be. The problem could be the electronic thinks the machine is always connected to cold water at about 20 degree c. if connected to hot, the time drop if the it would take to heat the water to the incomming temperture Good luck

Hi. The time displayed at the start of the program is an estimated time to complete the cycle. The appliance will calculate the wash time base on load size, water pressure, water temp ect. If a smaller load is to be washed then less water will be required thus shortening the time required to fill and heat water as a result this will reduce the wash time. EG. The more water you put in your kettle the longer it takes to boil.
