My 42 inch LG plasma TV is starting to have little white flashes all over the screen. They mostly go away after the TV is on for a while. They are there whether I am watching TV or a DVD. They have been getting worse as time goes on. It looks like snow, the dots move, so it shouldn't be a burned out pixel. It is worse (or maybe just more noticeable?) when there are dark scenes on the screen. Does anyone have any ideas what this may be and how I can correct it?

I had the same problem with mine, LG techs came out to my place and upgraded the software and the problem went away.
I had mine for nearly a year when it started, supposedly is it quite common.
Anyway, dont worry too much about it as easily fixed. I have been very happy with my TV and have used it everyday for 16 months. Just want a higher resolution TV now.
Do you mean alot of snow in the picture? Most of the time snowy pictures and or interference while using basic cable are caused from those cheap push on cables that are provided with VCR's and VCR/DVD combos. If you have one connected, remove it, throw it away and purchase one that uses screw on type "f" fittings.
