    I have an ESP 7 which often prints out blank pages. Kodak sent me a new print head and it printed ok for about 3 days and then...more blank pages. Ran several of the maintenance utilities and then started printing again. Couple of days later, blank pages again. What a waste of ink due to all of the calibration pages and clean printheads I run. I have also replaced numerous cartridges....same problem.

    My Kodak ESP 2150, all in one printer has a cord which I can plug into the printer and connect it to my computer so that I can print from my computer. It tells me that there is a problem with the "cord". Where can I purchase another cord??

You need to use the head cleaning tool in the printer properties, youll need to keep running it untill it runs clear and it uses alot of your ink while it does it.

youll find the cleaning option if you go to your
start/settings/printers and faxes, right click on your printer and go to printer preferences then maintinence

Sounds like print head needs replacing, try the troubleshooting guide on Kodak website to confirm, appears to be a common problem with these Kodak printers, if new it should be covered under warrenty although if not they are expensive

Istalled new ink cartidges in a Kodak ESP5 and color is faded and Black and white in not even there ??
issue is with printhead.

Try re-installing the ink cartridge....clean printhead from Menu > Maintenance > Clean printhead.

Else, visit www.kodak.com/go/itg and follow the steps to order a free printhead for you.

Kodak ESP5 new cartridge error msg: cartridge needs replaced
Try using a new pack of ink cartridges.

If still face the same issue, conntact Kodak support.

They will send you ink cartridges, if still the same issue persists the printer will be replaced.

We are having trouble with our kodak ESP5 printer it wont print using black we have changed both cartridges and ran it through the cleaning it also only sees that the black is 1/2 full and it's a new black...
Follow www.kodak.com/go/itg and try the step by step solution.If issue persists,Call Kodak @1800 421 6699 and get a new printhead free of cost.....Printhead has gone bad and it is the part in which we install the ink cartridges.It takes the ink out of the cartridges and spit the ink on the papers,...Cheers and Enjoy.

I replaced a new black ink catridge, the black is
For that problem kindly try doing the ff:
  • Re-seat the inks both color and black then try printing
  • Re-seat the Printhead of the printer then print again
  • Try changing the print quality to best then try printing
  • if problem still persist call 1800 421 6699 and the technical rep will replace the printhead

PRINT FADES OMPLEELY OUT EVEN WITH NEW INK CARTRIDGES
Open the kodak all in one home center on your desktop and click on [?] on top most right hand side. choose maintenance under general links and choose printhead cleaning. if this does not solve the issue, call kodak @ 1800 421 6699 and they will replace the printhead for you free of cost.. do not worry.

Black ink is faded

Faded/bad coloring on color printer/scanner - Kodak ESP5
Take out both the colour and black ink cartridge and look on there sides as there would be a number written on the side.......this is to determine if the ink cartridges are genuine or not.........here are few numbers for the ink cartridges if they match and still have issue then its a print head issue else bad ink cartridges probably refilled........
