Wifi My Palm TX just recently started to shut off when I try to connect to the internet, {versamail, AvantGo,Blazer} I can sync. my calendar and contacts via Bluetooth but that's it. It doesn't give an error or any warning, it just shuts off. thanks. PS I thought that perhaps it could possibly be a problem with my home connection but it won't work any where else either.

Its probably conflicting with some app. My palm has gone into infinite reset loops till I did a hard reset. Back up your data, and do a hard reset. (THIS WILL DELETE ALL DATA, AND RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS)
(hold the power button, and press the reset button, release the reset button (keep holding the power), wait till you see the ORANGE screen (after the loading bar), and release the power. )

Tx will no longer sync with outlook 2003 or outlook 2007 calendars. Software reinstalled, tx reset, latest updates for syncing with outlook 03 and outlook 07 loaded, still won't sync to outlook calendar...

I would recommend contact the palm free chat. Here is a link for that. I have a TX and have used the chat feature myself and always with good results. Scroll to the bottom of the page and then you will see Palm chat. From there click on chat now and follow the directions. Best wishes.

Have to reset Palm TX to power on sometimes

I have a palm TX and it usually just sits for a minute or two when I use blazer. I have also found out that the pda will always reset itself and it only freezes when it has a lot going on. It stays frozen for a while, but eventually unfreezes. As for the home button, it's probably worn down. My power button and my up button have almost completely stopped working.

Treo 650 is not syncing with outlook calendar, but syncing with everything else.

You may have tried Exchange ActiveSync in VersaMail When you setup an Exchange ActiveSync account in VersaMail, you are asking your Treo to synchronize email and your calendar with an Exchance 2003 server. In order to prevent duplicates, VersaMail disables Calendar synchronization via HotSync while the account exists on your Treo. So if you are an Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) user, you have a choice; you either sync wirelessly or you can delete the EAS account in VersaMail and can then sync your Calendar via HotSync. You cannot do both unfortunately.

Calendar Not Syncing

OK. Hope this helps you because it fixed my problem. Go into palm desktop. Go to hot sync, click on custom Go to Calendar (Outlook) and double click on that. At this point click on settings. Under conflict resolution choose "outlook wins". Then go out and check syncronize files and set as default. Click done and this should resolve the issue. Reply if this is confusing.

Hot sync calendar from outlook to my palm

In my LifeDrive, my VersaMail set-up wasn't quite right. I had my e-mail address in as "name", rather than "[email protected]". That fixed MY problem. Others (including me) are having trouble keeping the HotSync set to sync Calendar. It keeps going back to "Do Nothing" Go to HotSync in the system tray on your PC, right click, select Custom and see if your Calendar (conduit) is set to 'Do Nothing' as an action. I was able to get it to change and work, but just once (so far!!)

Treo 650 from Cingular is not hotsyncing with Outlook Calendar?

Have you setup an EAS account in VersaMail? The VersaMail application on your Treo 650 supports Exchange ActiveSync, which allows synchronization of Email and Calendar wirelessly with Exchange Server 2003. If an EAS account exists on the handheld the Calendar conduit will disable itself to avoid duplicates. Go to VersaMail on your Treo650 Select Menu: Accounts: Account Setup Check to see if any EAS accounts exist on the device by selecting and account, then Edit... One the first screen check Mail Service. Do any of them say "Exchange Activ..." If yes you'll need to delete that account to sync calendar entries.
