Blue Motorola Log BOOTLOADER USB INIT ofter it got wet
The phone turns on with the charger and no battery. The Verizon logo comes on and then a Motorola Logo with the following on the bottom: "BOOTLOADER USB INIT". It freezes on the Blue Motorola logo. But when you press the red botton it says Power Key Reset.... I called Verizon and they said that when that appears means that the phone is done. Please let me know if I can make my phone work again. The phone went bad when I left it in a tray that was later filled with rain and I did not get back to the phone for about 6 hours. So the phone was under water for about that many hours. HELP, Thank You

More often then not its the battery even tho the battery is fully charged as it may seem. The rel test is get a new battery not your friends battery tho but a new one put it in there and let it charge. If that doe not work then the phone's logic board has been effected and it may or might not be worth reviving. But check the battery first.

Your phone is starting in flash mode..You need to have either p2k phone tools or motorola phone tools..you can get them from www.modmymoto.com. once you have the software on your PC connect your usb cable and reload your phone
problem can be solve did you download any application from the internet or from any other device?.
If yes, that means the phone has contacted a virus through an application sent to your phone. If the falls, it might also affect the board and make it to malfunction. The phone has lost some memory that would have helped the phone to boot normally.
So you need to flash the phone to restore the lost memory of the phone. Then the phone can boot normally.
Does the Verizon logo flash when you plug it in? I had this same problem. Take the battery off. Plug the phone in. Observe the flashing logo. Put the battery back in. Observe "Charging..." screen. Power on. Unplug. Good to go.
Sounds like your flash went bye-bye. Make sure you are NOT holding
down */# on startup as that causes the phone to drop into bootloader.
Alteratively, if your phone keeps booting into bootloader by default,
try holding them down on startup. Also, try removing the battery,
plugging in the charger, and wait for the unable to charge to appear.
Insert the battery and let it sit for a few hours which should help.
You can try to do a software upgrade to it in the Verizon store if Verizon is your provider, they will also have a NEW battery for you to try and if it is under a year old they can swap it right over the counter under warranty for free.
1. The phone boots to the Windows 'desktop' and reboots... A. The battery is at fault. Remove the battery for 10 minutes, reconnect and try again.
2. The phone displays the VZW logo and reboots in an endless cycle... A. The ROM has gotten corrupt. You can take it to a Verizon store and have it replaced under manufacturers defect warranty. (* The store tech will test the phone and check for water damage, before a replacement phone will be offered.)
