You are actually running at 667 x 2 =1333. You multiply the number by 2 because of the dual channel DDR 3 ram. You would need to go into the bios and change the 667 to 800 (800 x2= 1600 ). You may have to increase the voltage to the ram and change the memory timings to what your ram is specked at. You most likely will not notice the difference in the speed, if you can not get it to change. I have attache a link to read what other owners of this board have done. The second link is for the memory.

Does Intel DH61BF motherboard supports 4GB 1600Mhz RAM ?

OK, I was looking for a solution, but hardly got anything that clarify if it's compatible or not. But what I did find out is that if you install a 1600MHz memory stick, this one will clock down to 1333MHz in order for the MB not to crash. Here is a C/P.

Part #: 2xCT102464BA160B • 16GB (2x 8GB Kit) • DDR3-1600 - 1600Mhz - PC3-12800 • CL11 • Dual Rank • Non-ECC • Unbuffered • 1.5V • 16-chip 512Mx8 • Lifetime Advance Replacement Warranty • This 1600 MHz module is programmed to clock down to 1333 / 1066MHz where the system requires it.

New memory stick 4 gb doesn't work

you cant do that. memory is always in PAIRS. The sockets are Colour Coded for each PAIR. two blue two black. the largest may need to be 1st Pair. suggestion: take all 4 out. put 2 largest back in as 1st pair see if pc is ok. then add 2nd pair. see if ok.

this will depend on your motherboard
whether you can install a 4 gb module of ram

you will need to select your motherboard from a dropdown list

also on the left will be types of ram ddr2 ddr3...... you will need to select which type you have

If you're not sure if a module is right for your system, use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules.

NON-ECC/Non-parity - Most desktop and laptop computers take NON-ECC or Non-parity memory.

ECC/Parity - ECC or parity modules look for errors in data and are most often found in servers and other mission-critical applications used by large networks and businesses.

Unbuffered - Most PCs and workstations use unbuffered memory which is faster than registered memory.

hope this helps you

My 880GM-E41 motherboard says my Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM XMP X2 Grey Series is running at 667 mhz or somthing, but i know it can be overclocked to 1600mhz, how is this...

Rather than '1600' Mhz, it's capable of using DDR (Double Data Rate) RAM at '800' Mhz.
The "double" rate provides 2 bits per cycle, resulting in a rating of 1600 for the RAM.

The RAM that you're currently using is '667', not '800' Mhz, rated.
Buy RAM that is rated at '800'.

This are the specs for your ram: 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 Non-ECC
(Kit of 2) Intel XMP HyperX = DDR3-1600
