does your HDD makes a shacking noise when it is running or when you are trying to read or write ont he HDD? if so then you may want to look at checking the HDD for internal damages and if not, you may want to update your MOBO's BIOS.

I don't know about where you guys are but when I went on to www.sanyo.co.nz and went into support and insturction manual searched DVD recorder it came up with english manuals for all their DVD recorders, just cick on the one you need
Simply goto the menu and go into the time section and put the correct time in first. then find the programming section and put in date and time the show comes on and don't forget timer when finished.
