Check its speaker/s first. If found OK, check and replace damaged component/s at its audio output stage circuit.

SOURCE: Stand-by LED blinks-no picture or sound

the symptom is usually caused by a breakdown in the power supply circuit. in most modern receivers (transistorized and/or ic), it may also be caused by a breakdown in the horizontal deflection circuits (hor. oscillator, pre-drive, or drive circuits). supply voltages for the tuner, video if,sound if, and vertical output are usually supplied by the horizontal output circuit. but if you doesnt know anything about these stuffs, better bring it to a qualified service tecnhician

My Vizio Smart TV has no sound

Sounds like you may need to replace the audio circuit board. If you are comfortable with taking apart your tv, you can find a dealer on this site who provides new and refurbished circuit boards for televisions. It is a shame that your tv is so new and causing you issues. Good luck and have a great day!

Heard a loud pop noise on Toshiba TP48D90 tv.Now no sound

Its not worth it. the parts cost alone will exceed the value of the Tv. you can buy a new 50" TV for $500 or less. Time to put it out to pasture.

Toshiba tv speakers broken

You probably have a bad solder connection that has completely opened up...Or if you have a flat screen TV you will need to change the main board... Just get the model number and go to HERE for availability and part search. The main board has the audio circuits.

Toshiba 61H70 projection TV. Perfect picture but the sound suddently stopped working. Tried all on screen settings and still no sound. Set is 8 years old but relatively few hours. Is it worth repairing?...

it sounds like the soundboard went out on the tv..its probably worth fixing but you have to know what you are doing if you do it on your own.it could be something more minor too but not sure

RCA Model f36665 Guide series 36" TV

Who said it cannot be fixed? You can try and hook an external speaker to wires and test for sound. Maybe audio outs have sound?

Loss of colour

With the set being 12 years old, I'm sure the picture tube is near the end of its useful life. You probably have a defective semiconductor, either an IC or transistor that has gone up giving you no color, but with the green picture, it is not likely worth repair.
