I think that light combination means "Drain error". Most comonnly caused by something hard getting down into the drain pump, blocking or partially blocking the drain pump impeller or the check valve inside the drain hose right next to the drain pump.

Put a 120v load on it.

The drain pump has been block and it requires cleaning including the diverter valve. Disconnect power then lay the machine on its front on a cushioned surface to access the drain pump and the diverter valve at the bottom of the tub. Remove the inlet and outlet hoses of the drain pump and the diverter valve and clear any debris that is blocking the flow of water and preventing it from draining out. Check the impeller of the drain pump and make sure it is not blocked, restricted or damaged.

Also check the diverter valve for the same condition as the pump described above. The diverter valve is where the drain pump and the recirculation pump inlet hoses are attached from. Make sure it is in the drain position while the drain pump is working. Replace the drain pump and/or the diverter valve if deemed necessary.

The U1 code means:-
Dishwasher attempted to fill to correct level but failed. = Water tap not turned on. Turn the water tap on.
Too much foam. Rinse aid setting too high or has been spilled. = Turn the rinse aid dial to a
lower setting or wipe the spill. Incorrect detergent. Ensure that you use a detergent that is intended for a domestic automatic dishwasher. Egg yolk. Place an extra tablespoon of detergent in the dishwasher door for pre-rinsing.

Wash pump faulty. Call your Fisher & Paykel Dealer or Authorised Service Centre.
Dishwasher not draining. = Drain hose bent or kinked. Straighten drain hose so water can flow through. Strainer blocked. Empty out the strainer and ensure the filter plate is clear of food

If your washer doesn't spin or pump water out but the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley. If so, you need to replace the pump. To check the pulley, remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate the pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely--if it's frozen or stiff--replace it.Also its possible that drain pump is got blocked by debris or lint collected in the drain hose or any cloth or coins etc etc got blocked in drain pump. sounds like a blocked drain hose or a faulty pump motor..If the machine can be drained by putting the drain hose lower than the water level then the hose is not blocked and it may be the pump...Make sure the hose leaves the machine from under the tub and not high on rear of washer. Obviously water won't flow uphill..If the pump has failed a new pump motor is much cheaper than buying a whole new pump....Nomess

how do you check to see if the pump is pumping? The drain is not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. The garbage disposal is not clogged either.
