HI All of a sudden, there is lets say no more image on the display or the image is purple and full of weird lines. No image at all and when I click to take a picture everything works out well: the flash the mechanism but no picture appears as taken Thanks. My fine pix has a similar problem . In movie mode it is fine but when I take snaps all images are found to have bright white horizontal lines , looks like a light sensor problem , no solution found so far . :(

Sounds like the image sensor is failing or has failed.

aperently it has to do with converting the analogue signal to digital or the other way around..rca is the cable type..the signal is what you are having issues with..you may need a converter..it may also require going into the setup menu of the tv and make it recognize the signal..

The problem is AV cables or connectors on the TV, try to replace the connector shouldwork

That is weird, maybe try to reset it by taking the batteries out and then putting them back in and starting it from scratch. Electronic problems....yikes.

Gimbo again. Think LCD damaged will need to repair. Pics. as normal when viewed or printed.
Why has nobody commented?
How much to replace screen? Any ideas?

No Fix - New camera time Do contact Canon Tech support, But I feel this is a firmware problem and there is not a fix.

Warning the following tip will erase apps and programs from calculator!
The following will run the self-test mode
Press mode then press alpha then press s then press enter
If you want to get out of the self test press the on button in case you want to attempt to save/transfer apps, programs, variables etc.
The calculator will start to test itself it'll countdown and display numbers on the screen. It can get better sometimes other times a replacement of both the cr1616/cr1620 lithium battery and the 4 AAAA batteries work. Also ensure that you've attempted to clear out all the memory and reset the calculator. To delete all variables, tables, graphs, etc: Press 2nd button then press MEM then press 2 then press 1.
To reset the calculator press 2nd button then press MEM then press 7 then press the left arrow then press 1 then press 2.
