error code /LOC- have recently moved washer but worked after I moved it til today- it just beeps and shows that error message - will not start- I have checked the dispenser and the door - I presume LOC means door lock won't lock therefore won't start but can't fix.error code /LOC- have recently moved washer but worked after I moved it til today- it just beeps and shows that error message - will not start- I have checked the dispenser and the door - I presume LOC means door lock won't lock therefore won't start but can't fix.

I see that your Frigidaire washer is displaying an error code of "18h". However, it appears "18h" is an invalid error code. In order to clear any false error codes, let's attempt resetting your range. You can do this by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position for approximately ten minutes.
If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please inform me of the new error code or if your washer continues to display "18h". I look forward to assisting you. -Matt
The error code "E10" stands for fill time too long, which could be an issue within your pressure sensor or control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your appliance you can do that by unplugging the power cord or flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the issue I would seek assistance from a professional to come and properly diagnose your washer. -Matt
Hello Annie, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
I see you are still receiving error code "LOC" even after replacing the door lock assembly. Let's try unplugging your washer once again to determine if it is a false error code. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your washer on. Before selecting a cycle, press OPTIONS and SELECT at the same time for 20 seconds until "LOC" is no longer displayed. If the error code does not clear, then your washer more than likely may be experiencing an issue with the control board or wiring harness. I hope this information helps to some degree.
LOC error code is displayed when the control panel
is locked, to unlock it press the OPTION & SELECT button and hold them for
20 seconds. This should reset the control, if it does not then replacing the
control is recommended repair. Please get back to me if you have any other
questions.
Sounds like the electronic locking mechanism is malfunctioning. It is secondary lock which is supposed to enguage before the high spin cycle. It is about a $20 part.
hold the option and select buttons at the same time for several seconds and it will "unlock" the control panel hold it for a very long time keep them pressed as you turn the dial
Hi, The meaning for ddo error means"Dispenser Drawer Open" To rectify this problem you should try opening and closing the door shut. There will be a magnet which shows that the door is closed or open. The magnet is underneath the dispenser door, you have to remove the dispenser from the washer, then take apart the dispenser itself to view the magnet. If the magnet is missing you have to replace it. Thank you !!
The LOC code merely means the control responded and locked the door. You'll find a tech sheet under the top panel of the machine to help guide you thru the diagnostic process, which is fairly involved.
LOC means it thinks the control panel is locked. This gives the ERR indication when you push the buttons. To unlock it you need to hold down the Options and Select buttons together until it reacts.
I know this may seem silly but - On the top right back corner of your washer hit it with medium force with your fist, this helps.
