Slide the on/off switch all the way to the left to the "Rate Set" position. Now enter the appropriate tax rate. When entered, slide the switch to the desired "On" or "Print" position and CE/C before your first calculation. You should now be all set to go.

If you want to change the date press the button that looks like a calender and clock. When this occurs it toggles between the date and times.

Next hold down the M+= button. (Above this button is a print that says Clock/Date Set).

While holding this button down the date will start to flash. At this point start keying in the date of your choice.

After you have completed press Clock/Date Set (M+= button) again.

Follow same steps for date.

How do I add another tax (county) to my register

You set a tax rate to the next tax setting available e.g tax2. Then you link each product that uses that tax to T2 in the settings for the product (usually PLU prog). There will be various codes to do this in your manual. If you have lost it, one of the users has most programming manuals here:

Hi how do I program the taxes for Quebec (5% and 9.98%) into my casio pcr-t275?

Use the rate programming codes for tax1 and tax2. Once you have set the rate, you need to link each tax to a department using the codes for department linking. If you have lost your manual, one of the users has the tax code manual here:

In the manual for the Casio PCR T275, it does not state clearly how to program a tax rate. What is the key sequence to set a tax rate of 12% for products? Thanks.

The tax can be set through the help menu. Press HELP then select 2 for tax and it will lead you through.

Hi, I have a Casio PCR-T465. I'm a little stumped as how to change the GST & PST to just HST of 13%. I was wondering if you could help me out. Thanks!

You need to set one rate for HST and change your department links to look at the single rate. Which tax numbers do you use at the moment? E.g. tax1 PST, tax2, GST. We need to know which tax numbers are allocated for which tax types.

the full manual for the te-3000s is available here (free) http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/CASIO/TE-3000S-_E
once the page opens click on the "download complete user guide (1135ko) " it will open a adobe .pdf file that contains your manual. All the reference to your tax setting is there.
Regards.
p.s. you will need Adobe (free) reader to view this manual.

Setting tax

If the model is EL-2125 , and not 2125C or 2125E the following will work

1)switch on
2)press CE and then CA (you should see 0. with small 00 in top left hand corner but nothing else)
3)press M- button (rate set button),current tax rate 17.50% will appear with tax at left hand side
4) type new rate eg 15.00 (making sure to hit the decimal and two zeros, tax at the left and % should still be on the screen)
5) press M- (rate set button) (small 00 will appear in top left hand corner)
6) press = ( new rate and G will appear small 02 in top left hand corner and = sign below it)

hope this works for you, please let me know either way

Need user manual for Casio sl-200te

To change the tax rate, first press AC. Then press SET % for 2 seconds. Next, press TAX+, then enter the new or current tax rate. Enter the rate for a single digit tax rate such as 5% as 5, a single number; if you have a fractional percentage rate, such as 5.75%, enter it just that way: the 5, then a decimal and followed by 7& 5. Then press SET % again and you're done! I just did it on two of the calculators and it works. Hope this helps!
