Download Manager error 8004014

If you haven't already, restart your device and try your download again. If you're still having trouble afterwards, try these
check your data connection
make sure download manager is turned on
clear cache and data
reinstall playstore updates
check for system updates

try uninstalling the software, and manager. download the newest version of the manager and software. restart your PC and try again.

Go to the application manager settings and turn off the certificate checker.

Hopefully reinstalling the software will fix the problem.

Well, when you deleted some application it has to be done through installer. You might just delete application pressing C button. In that case there's an install file but no application acces. Try use Y-Browser and if you can't find the file then format the memory card.

This error message means your have some type of malware on your computer. Could be spyware, a trojan, or a fake rouge anti-virus. You'll need to download a good virus scanner and anti-malware scanner. I like avast anti-virus and malwarebyes anti-malware. You may also need a stand alone fix if its any variation of vundo. Enter in your exact model #
Click on the link for your exact model #
Click on the Software & Drivers section
Click on "Firmware Upgrade Software"
Install the new Device Manager
Open and run the "Repair" tab

It could need to have all of your software reloaded again.
Goto your desktop manager and select software upgrades.  Looks for the 8300 update.  It should be version 4.5.  Download it to your computer.
If desktop manager sees the phone, the update should load.
4.5 will replace your existing software set with a new one.
The new version the came out on the 20th covers video recording and has new browser improvements as well.

You can download desktop manager for free from Blackberry.com web site.

If you are able to get this to work, good luck, because I am unable to get the desktop manager to find the blackberry, nor is the USB port reading what the device is.

But you can give the desktop manager a try,and also download the software for your blackberry. I'd suggest you download the 4.3 version of the software and be sure it is in the language that you speak (they have several, look for ENG for english)
