Try changing the charger, if that doesnt work change the charging block inside the phone, you will need a T6 screwdriver... If that doesnt work, provide a bit more info...

Batteries have a life expectancy, usually about a 1000 charges, even though the battery seems ok, it probably isnt holding the charge, the easiest and cheapest way would be to try a new battery :)

Thank you for clarifying the problem...

As mentioned the main PCB on the handset will need to be repaired, this is quite technical and a lot of decent phone shops do provide board level repairs on handsets... If this is not feasible, then you can look into trying a desktop charger which charges just the battery on its own and not through the handset, these are usually quite cheap and should be available bl-5c battery... If you cant find it for your particular phone have a look for other phones as quite a few handsets use this same battery :)

P.S Next time when people try to help please mention in your post that you will mark them as inappropriate unless your problem is 100% fixed... Come on here to help people answer such a vague question as "N70 Charging Problem" and I get marked as inappropriate, lmao... Next time you have a problem just say the phone name and the word problem and I will have my magical little elves pop out of your phone, diagnose the problem and fix the handset for you whilst your sleeping, lol

95% of the time if the phone is showing a charge state while nothing is attached it is liquid damage. Either that or the transistor that detects the attached charger is shorted.

Which would be caused by a defective charger (over voltage). The charge circuit is diode protected so if the charging polarity is reversed it will not hurt the phone.

So the main board of the phone will need to be repaired/replaced.

N70 model cellular phone battery charge problem

try your charger on another phone. If it's ok with other phone , it means ur phone is the one in problem. there's some component named IC charge that might be broken, u need to rplace it, bring it to a techician, suppose it'll cost you below 20usd here. i don't know how much they'll cost u there. but i think will not be different so much.
