My photos taken using the vivitar vivicam 3330 digital camera were not found in the memory card when i checked it on my pc, it seems that my photos were been in the internal memory of the cam. the problem is i dont have the usb connector to access the internal memory of the cam. and i have searched to buy a usb unfortunately the cam's usb is too small. what can i do to get my photos in the internal memory of the cam without using a usb?
After removing the media card (which can be downloaded directly into my VISTA computer), I found more pictures in my Vivitar 3330 internal memory, but I cant get the computer to access the camera itself. should me via menu - settings - storage - format - internal memory if you are using a sd card just insert it into a computer and delete the ones you wish, formating and sd card will remove all photos
maybe its not you memory card try using the usb and hook it up to your computer to see what photos you have taken or you can use the playback mode to view them and see if you took photos on accident this happend to me but i found out it left my finger on the shutter button and took lots of pics or if you have young ones around you ask if they mess with your camera
You have one or more pictures on the camera's internal memory and it won't let you use the memory card. With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"....follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. After that, your card should work properly.
You don't need a USB cord. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).
You should be able to find SD cards at any department, electronics, or office-supply store.

This camera can use an SD card up to 128mb. If you insert the card into the camera and go into the menu to find "copy", you can copy the internal memory to the card. Then, you can use a card reader to download from the card to your computer.
There are several possible causes for "memory card locked", "memory card error", or "no memory card". Some include trying to use of a 4GB SDHC card with an older camera made before SDHC format came out. Others include problems with the tiny slide switch on the side of the card, or the electrical contact switch internal to the camera. The problem may also arise from simple formatting problems if the card has never been formatted in the camera (note that this will also erase the card). Troubleshooting tips for this problem may be found at this link.
If you have a memory card installed, the pictures will be on the card, in a folder with a name along the lines of "DCM100". If you don't have a memory card installed, they will be in the camera's internal memory, at least until you turn the power off.
hope you can help me on this... thank you
