I added the Sector 7 XG900 Joystick driver files from my install disk to a WinRAR archive file & uploaded it to TinyUpload.com for you. Just double click the "setup.exe" & it will guide you through the install process. If you have any questions or need any help, just ask. Remember, you need to have WinRAR installed to open the archive. Link to WinRAR: http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm

How to install joystick on win7

Do not try to install the drivers that came with your joystick. Instead, try connecting it and letting Windows 7 detect it (and install the drivers automatically) from Microsoft's site.

When I plug in my Wingman (win 7-64) and I get the B.S.o.D. and windows has to reboot. any ideas? Im sure my driver is compatible for the system

I have Win7-64, and able to run Wingman. If you have the CD, it is okay, you can install both the joystick and USB drive, but the better option is that you go to the Logitech site, and download the latest drivers for the Wingman. Wingman is the older version of 3D, but the drivers of Logitech extreme, 3D are workable with the old Joystick Wingman., and they should work well on the Window 7 , 64 version

click on the joystick and then click on the properties tab

tick the box and move down the list to win 7 and click that ---apply and ok
it sound slike a compatibility fault or a missing driver for the joystick

Not working with windows 7

You can download the driver software from the Saitek website, here's the link http://www.saitek.com/uk/down/drivers.php
Just select Joystick in the first drop down box, then your version of windows 7 (32 or 64 bit) then just follow the instructions to download your drive.
Install the driver before you plug in yours joystick (the driver will more than likely ask you to plug it in at some point in the install process).
I hope this help you out.

Joystick will not work with windows7. how can I update drivers? Its a microsoft joystick

There are no Vista drivers which means it won't work with Windows 7. If you use in XP the drivers will load automatically.

Sorry man..looks like you'll need a new joystick.

Do I need a driver for wingman attack 2 on Windows XP, I can't get it to work. I'm very very new at this.

The drivers from Logitech help and can be downloaded from thier support site. The software they have lets you use profiles for all the games you play with the joystick, that way you don't have to constantly calibrate it for each game. The windows drivers will work the joystick....just have to go to control panel, game controllers and enable and calibrate the joystick.
