OLEVIA 532-B12 When we moved, suddenly our tv couldn't be set up in new location. Nobody in our small town works on Olevia and 100 miles away from closet location to take tv. Sears repair came and said need new video card but he can't get parts. If we can get part, says he can replace it. Anybody know where to get this video card?
The electronics are known to go bad with these TV's, and I'm looking to buy someone's junk TV that has a good screen, rather than have to throw it out.
(So if anyone is out there with a 532-B12 that isn't working, send me a message!)
If it's a simple replacable part, it might be worth fixing - however I know sadly that parts are nearly impossible to get for these TV's, and the manufacturer is virtually impossible to contact.
I think that Sears repair person might be making it sound a little more modular than it really is. If he's talking about replacing the mainboard of the TV (which IS a video board), that's basically "the guts" of the TV, and not a readily available part like a power cord, back side connectors.
If you DO manage to contact anyone (manufacturer or otherwise) who can source or supply parts, PLEASE do let me know - it's been nearly impossible for me, and I want to replace my cracked screen in my TV.
If you can't, please let me know - I'll gladly give you a few bucks at least to salvage the screen from your TV, to transplant into mine, rather than turning it into junk on your curb.

Unfortunately, the Sears repair man who said he could fix it if he had a part did not specify a part number. I may have incorrectly assumed that by the model number we could find out the part number specific to that tv?
whats the part number?
