SOURCE: Cadet In-Wall Heater - Red Light is on

The light is actually to tell you that the safety has been activated. This is usually an indication that the heater is dirty and needs to be cleaned. Turn the heater off at the breaker and take the grill off. Use a hairdryer or a shopvac on the exhaust side and blow the heater clean. If this doesn't fix it the the heater will need to be replaced. The light indicates that you have an "X" model heater.

Grandson put something in front of cadet heater. Now it's not working. Is there a reset button?

Yes there is a reset. Take of the front grille and you'll see the button on the front marked "HEATER RESET - PUSH". Make sure your unit is clean and free from lint and dust, which will accumulate over time and use. Inspect the unit for any signs of scorching or damage from whatever was put in front of the heater.

I have a cadet heater not working. When I try to push the reset button it does not seem to go in at all. Do I need to replace the complete heater unit or could it be the thermostat?

I had this same problem, which required a new heater. The thermostat tested fine. A bypass of the thermostat switch was attempted and the unit still would not work. The reset switch had never tripped to indicate a problem.

I need a diagram for a parallel (?) 220 circuit using 10/3 wiring for 3 wall heaters and 3 different t-stats for 3 rooms

are you sure 10-3 wire is big enought to handle 3 heaters on one circuit? I would call that into question before going forward.

Probably the Thermal Fuse, it is in the Phase line after the main switch, & goes Open Circuit when "Blown".
