Can you receive a fax? Pick up the handset to check and see if you have a good dial tone on your end.

The fax machine will not faxes, it prints out as busy.

make sure the cable is in the LINE socket not the TEL socket as this will stop connection..

Cannot send or receive faxes We had to move the fax and it shows to be on but I am not receiving faxes and when I try to send it shows to be busy.

Sounds like you are not connected to a working phone line.
