Need remote control code, owner's manual.

refer to your TVs owners manual. You will find codes for common set top boxes there. all the new TV remotes are universal. If you see "cable" or "cbl" button on remote, you will be able to do so. Worst case scenario: you need to buy universal remote or use your cable box's remote to control basic functions on TV. Codes for TVs are included with cable box's remote control. Or, you can call your provider and ask for "Sony Bravia"codes. If you have a satellite box, codes are supplied right inside "setup" menu of the box.

Tv remotes are only for control the tvs only sorry.Ur cable box have it own remote,used the cable remote read ur cable box owner manual or call ur cable company for help by putting in the Toshiba remote codes for the cable remote to used.

You haven't specified your remote model number or your brand of TV, so I can't tell you how to program your remote or which codes to use. However you can get all the remote codes from here:

Enter your remote model number in the "SKU" box on the left and select your device type, e.g TV and then press "Submit". You will then get a list of codes for all TV brands. Find your brand and make note of the codes.

To program your remote you can enter these codes manually or use the code search function. You can find details of how to do this on this page:

Sroll down the page on the left hand side you will see links for how to program your remote.

Check the cable box for the manufacturers name and see if that isn't listed in your owners manual.

On this page is a pdf copy of the owners manual. You will need a pdf reader and writer to read the owners manual and a writer to make a copy for your own use.The information you are looking for is on pages 4-12 in the owners manual. Don't see an answer to this old question, but I just bought this unit. The box has an address: www.mscustomercare.com. Went there and was able to download the manual without any problems. Codes can be manually downloaded or learned from your older remotes.

I thought I lost or threw away the manual with the codes (and noticed your problem). After much digging I found the manual. Your tv RCA codes are 0031, 0004, 0048, 0054, 0094, 0100, 0102, 0107, 0129, 0191, 0005, 0009, 0000, 0162, 0163, 0342, 0003, 0015, 0022, 0096, 0113, 0125, 0179, 0187, 0188. Don't know which one will work for you, but one of them will work. Good luck!!!
