Filled espresso machine with water. Green lights

Need to replace green lamp

Probably the button underneath is stuck. This is a membrane button that can get damaged and doesn't make good contact anymore. Since this is an old question, i dont think it matters anymore.

one step at a time do you get water with out putting the capsule
what is it doing is there any sound coming from the pump do you have any flashing red light? need more info

could be one of two things
the machine is asking to be primed or ventilated , where you turn the hot water on till the light goes out.

or is asking for tank to be filled. There is a magnet float in water tank sometimes it stops floating making the machine think there is no water. to check fill tank with water and look to see if float is floating it will be grey/black in bottom corner of tank

Hi, is the water tank filled with water? Did you perge the system,remove air locks? Is coffee beans filled?
Sometimes when these machines are new or used and sit for a while, you have to purge the system.Try turning on power and when ready light comes on, use the frother knob to let out a steady flow of steam.
If this machine was always in use, then you may have to ``descale`` the system by running a solution of descaling liquid thru a few cycles.

the water level mechanism is probably stuck.you can try wiggling or tapping on it if you can locate it

I would try opening and closing the disc enclosure latch-- this triggers the machine to re-read the barcode and start a new cup of beverage. If the machine perceives that water needs to be heated more, the yellow light to should flash and the cycle to green when ready. If the water is already hot enough, when you close the latch, it will flip right to green.

Give this a try.

Hi,

Try to open the steam knob and make a cup of water (tea), see if you can get a full cup or just a half.

How old are your machine?
How often do you descale the machine?

you say our fill the water light stay on lot they put a magnet in the water container fill it with water and gently tap the water container if the magnet stuck that should do it if it persite the magnet receiver under the cover is diffective normaly a few little tap do the trick
