Easy fix. All you need to do is hold in the center button and the play button at the same time until a white apple with a black background appears. This will reset it. The better news is that you wont lose anything.
Good luck and if i've helped you please give me a good rating.
put it on a charger overnite, or for at least 4 hours. if u can help it, DO NOT use ur cp as a charger. After u do this it should go to "do not disconnect" the next time you plug it in to your computer.
:) hope this helps, tell me if you have any more problems, or if this doesnt help. Thanks :)
restore your ipod, it will solve the problem. Here is the REAL solution. Ending ipodservice.exe will NOT WORK.
1) Plug your ipod into the computer using firewire or USB.
2) Open MY COMPUTER
3) Wait until the ipod shows up as a drive letter
4) Right click on the ipod drive letter and do a ' quick format ' (Now the ipod is just a plain windows hard drive)
5) When it is complete, run the ipod updater and do a Restore. This puts the ipod software back onto it
6) Remove the ipod from the usb or firewire port, plug it into the wall power supply and allow it to finish the update
listen in the ipod and if you hear click click click in some pattern you may need a disk. But try this anyway: try and put the ipod in disk mode and find it in my computer. right click on the ipod drive and format the drive. then disconnect and put in disk mode again and mount to itunes. and restore again
