Best advice is to:
Press and hold HOME button, then ON/OFF button (together) till phone vibrates and boots up.
But charge the battery until 100% full first.

Well if you are tied to a particular network all you have to do is to unlock your phone to use it any other GSM network. You can get the unlock code through online. Give your IMEI number & get the unlock code for ur mobile .............You also get through online..........I will suggest the website Unlocking.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.

1 From the Xperia 10 Home screen, tap the applications bar.
2 Tap Settings > SD card & phone storage > Factory data reset > Reset phone.
3 Enter your screen unlock pattern.
4 Tap Erase everything.
Done! Now, You can reset your Xperia X10 to its factory default settings.

either you mobile battery drain out or there is some software problem, reinstall the software of the said phonem dont try yourself as the phone may dead permanently, go visit some mobile shop and they will do this for you at a cheap price (approx 100-200 bucks)
