Hi sjcrofts,
The most common problem for most people is knowing what wire color is positive & which wire color is negative. The colors blue, red, green, light blue, light red & light green are normally positive. The color white & black are negative. Your board uses only 2-pin connectors. The 3-pin power connector can be turned into a 2-pin connector to work with the M848ALU pins.
(Page 13, PANEL1). How to? Take the three pin connector, on the back side of the connector you'll see a small tab that holds the wire into the connector. Use a needle & pull tab up while pulling the wire out at the same time. The wire should slide out. Insert the wire back into the connector next to the other wire. You do not need to hook up the SUS led which stands for suspend.

Pin 1 is positive & the manual shows this by adding the _P = positive.
Pin 3 which is to the right of pin 1, is negative for the hard drive led. Pins 9 & 10 are not used.

Good luck sjcrofts!
Mike

SOURCE: Gigabyte GA-8INXP Motherboard Problem- front connector pins

If the wires from the reset switch is white/blue the blue wire is positive, Hdd red/white red is positive power Green/white Green is positive etc. The wires on the speaker connector will be red/black/black/white - red is positive. The colored wire is always positive. On all GA mb's the positive connection is always towards the back of the MB and are marked with a + on the base of the pin as you can see on the photo. Hope this help.

How do i restore a diablotek elite atx mid tower to factory settings

Cases don't have "factory settings." This sounds like a problem with the motherboard configuration. Make sure to re-check all your pin connectors leading to USB, Audio, and HD. Also, you may need to remove the MB to check if there's any damage, and to be sure that you don't have a short somewhere.

Cooler makes noise, when it rotates.please help.

Stop beating up the tower before you damage the harddisk! If the case/PSU is out of warranty, take the PSU out and get the fan replaced. You can do it yourself, just observe the arrow direction on the fan (usually the round label should point out) and wire colors (the fan should blow out). Observe also all the precautions since the capacitors inside can hold a significant charge.

Power supply compatible with cooler master cac-t05-uw

Power supplies are not matched to a case. Any one you buy will fit in the case. You need to make sure it has the correct power capacity and plugs for your motherboard, video card, and anything else you will have plugged into it.
