I think you're over your head here. Take it to a professional mechanic and let her sort it out. Sounds like your alternator isn't putting out the correct voltage.

My head light on my 1998 Chevy malibu went out but when I replace the bulb it still wont work

When you replaced bulb,all wiring and bulb connector looked good,no corrusion,wires not burned or strayed.With dim lights,means just a little power going to light bulb.Did you check the fuse in fuse box,could be a loose connectoion,check both fuses,left and right headlight.swap them out and see,if fuses are good then,it may be the headlight switch,which cost the most.Here's a link on how to replace.Here's the part.

Power went out no power to ILO-32hd

yes posible power supply is defective if fuse blow then could be defective fet transisters as well shorting best way is to replace complete board if it was surge from electicity.

you might find that the power cut has blown the tv does happen - check the fuse first in the plug

The low beams on my 2006 buick lacrosse wont work the bulbs and fuses have been replaced but they still wont work

Shannon, you did not state if you checked for voltage at the fuse location-or better yet at the bulb location-
If a connection at the relay that feeds power to the low beams has come loose, then the low beams will stay out. Suggest that you locate the headlight relay (in a box under the hood) and verify that it is operating. If an assistant can operate the headlights while you listen (and feel) for relay operation, then you can eliminate that as an issue. Next would be the output of the relay (contacts could be bad) - and if you cannot open the relay to verify good contacts, then purchase a replacement relay (possibly from a junkyard) and plug that in.

Remember, the relay supplies the power to the headlights.

1998 jetta k2 started fine shut off went to start again wont fire over or crank . lights come on so theres power checked all connections starter battery is there a starter relay or fuse?

you battery have disconnect inside replace battery check alternator charging Am.

My rear fog lights wont work! I just went to auto zone and bought two new bulbs (T922) and they worked for a few hours but went off again. ): I really want them to work, and I know how to turn them on,...

My geuss is that you need to rubber mount the lights. The vibration is what blowing the bulbs.
Also make sure the bulbs are the right voltage 12v not 6v.

Low beam headlights wont turn on and high beam will only flash. if i wggled the turn signal switch they came on but not anymore

You might want to first check your fuses to see if any fuses burned up. But, it does sound like your light switch went bad. Replace the light switch and it should work normally again. Hopefully, this will FixYa problem!

No picture no sound

check the main fuse inside the chasis, if burt start to replace it , if it goes again, check for primery fuse,
if the main fuse is ok, check for the secondary fused or dead short, check the horizontal transistor to make shure it's not shorted.
