My newly installed lexmark 1270 will not print from any web page when requested,the printbox shows to print on screen but no reaction when i click on print,, i have deinstalled the fax programe from it as it kept telling me it was on fax.but that has not solved it. but at least the printing box comes up on the screen now. thankyou in advance
Sounds like maybe you do not have the Lexmark as your default printer.
Try choosing Print from the File Menu. Then you should see a list of printers and select the Lexmark.
If that doesn't work, try printing from another application like WordPad to make sure the printer can print at all.
If you still can't print, make sure the printer is online. Click on Printers and Faxes in the Start Menu or the Control Panel. Then double click on the Lexmark printer icon. Make sure it doesn't say "Use Printer Offline" or "Paused" or anything like that in the title of the window that comes up. If it does use the Printer menu to change it.

Ok! there is two methods ok! turn off your printer and restart your computer and make sure that the computer recognizes your printer and once thats done make sure that once recognize you could install the drivers to your printer. Try that if not hit me back...

log on to lexmark website..www.lexmark.com ...downloaded lexmark tool bar to ur desk top ...once download is complete .install tool bar...then open web page..don not print from file..instead use the printer icon on the top right corner to print...this should fix it
For the Lexmark 1270, go to www.lexmark.com and click on DRIVERS AND DOWNLOADS. Then use the DRIVER FINDER. In SEARCH BY MODEL, type in 1270 and you can choose a driver from there.
