Hi Denise,
You should generally delete and re-add mailboxes when someone new takes over an extension. It allows the new person to customize the mailbox from scratch.

If all you want is to change the name, go:
Feature 983
Password: 1020000
Select Mbox
Enter the Mailbox number
Hit Next until you see the name, and then select change.
Enter in the new name, press next, and then hang up.

SOURCE: Extention Recorded Name

Your name is in the Company Directory if you chose this option when you first set up your mailbox. To change it AFTER you set up your mailbox, press feature 9 8 1, enter your mailbox password, dial #, press ADMIN ( or 8 ), display should read
Mailbox admin
GREET PSWD QUIT
dial 1, at the tone record your name, press # to end recording, press # to accept, press RLS
It will look like you are re-recording your greeting but you are recording your " voice " name. Good Luck. ...Mike

How to change voicemail greeting on Mitel 5330

If you want to change your voicemail greeting, go into your voicemail and press 4 on the keypad. This is usually the number for personal options such as Voicemail greeting, name in the directory, and changing your voicemail password. If you need more specific instructions just let me know and I'll be happy to help.

Name Display

The voicemail name and the phone system name come from two different places. Your system manager should be able to reprogram the phone system to change names.

Company directory

Hi, if you are still having this problem you need to re-record the NAME on the mailbox as well as the greeting. On the Stratagy voicemail system, from the main menu after logging into your mailbox, choose option 3 then 6 to record your name. Hope this helps, ....Mitelmike
