Change screen resolution

I need to know if it is possible, and if so, how to, change my Acer TravelMate 2480 screen resolution using only my keyboard so i can send it's screen to a remote screen.

Computer monitors in the past have been output only. With the invention of touch screen you have two way communication. Control for a monitor would mean sending codes to the monitor circuitry, which is usually done from the driver to the monitor and from the monitors menu.

Reinstall your keyboard if it is software problem. If it is hardware problem you can change the keyboard or learn to use the RIGHT SHIFT key. A minor annoyance (in my opinion).

That's because you activated the NumLock mode!
Have a look at your keyboard -upper right-, you'll find a "NumLock" key, push it once more and you will deactivate it and retrieve the normal use of any keys!

has your computer bin dropped before because it might be some lose wires or a piece broken somewhere in the computer  if a part inside the screen is broken you will have to buy a new screen all together
