I don't know about this specific game, but for other Petz games hold all the following buttons at the same time: L R X B and SELECT. It will ask you if you want to delete your save game, click the O (X will cancel).

Or, just select every section until you see the languages.

remove game chip. turn on ds and find the "gear" icon, which will let you change settings including language.

Did you "cheated" with the calendar on your PC?
In other words: Did you traveled trough the time on your PC (the virtual clock)
If you did, there's no hope for your petz.

.cat files are secure catalog files. Are the files in the correct folder? The file location should be something like Programfiles>Ubi Soft>Studio Mythos>Petz 5>Resource>Catz. If the files aren't in the Catz folder under resource, they won't work.

go to languages(the last one) in spanish it says idiomas and change it back to english
