Hi. this is a Door lock mechanism error. here is a description of the code and troubleshooting tips below.

Door lock error

A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be locked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error.

Potential Causes

• Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
• Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
• Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

You may need to replace the door lock mechanism if the wire harness checks out OK. Now, if the wires are connected well and the door lock mechanism if working, this could be a more serious issue concerning the Control board.

You can test the door lock mech by using a volt neelde or multimeter as well. use the connector clips for testing the proer voltage.

Please rate and god bless:)

My optiplex 320 is making two high pitched beeps on starting boot, also im not getting anything on the monitor

James,
It sounds like the refresh rate is set to high. Since you do not mention what OS is installed I have listed information on how to change in Windows,XP.
Start the computer and press the F8 key. Choose Safe Mode. Once the system gets into Windows follow the steps below and then restart the computer. If this does not resolve your issue email me at my email address below and include your OS information.

How to Change the Screen Refresh Rate of Your Monitor

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

Alternatively, right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
  3. Click the Monitor tab, and then click the screen refresh rate that you want to use.
NOTE:
  • The default refresh rate setting is 60 Hertz (HZ); however, your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information about the settings that your monitor supports.
  • If you use a higher refresh rate, you can reduce the rate that your screen flickers; however, if you specify a refresh rate that is too high for your monitor, your screen may become unusable and your hardware may be damaged.
  • Changes to the refresh rate affect all users that log on to the computer.
Or your system is giving off a beep code in which case the beeps come in a 3 beep sequence. Below is the beep codes and what each represents.Beep Codes

Whirlpool won't turn on code F dl appears

The problem is your door latch. You either have a latch that is defective, or the interconnecting wiring harness needs to be checked to ensure it is making good contact. The following link explains how to disassemble the washer and/or replace the latch:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587965-door_latch_replacement_fdl_error

Read through the link and let me know if you have any questions. A replacement latch can be purchased on line at searspartsdirect.com, appliancepartspros.com, pcappliancerepair.com, or repairclinic.com. I've used all these web sources with great results. All offer competitive pricing, so shop all of them for the best price. I hope this helps you.
