Toshiba + Azurewave wirless set up

I'm no expert when setting up computers and I've hit a dead end setting up my wireless router, I need to know in basic terms how to go about setting it up I've got the modem going through the router for normal internet access however the instyruction are really poor for the router and the web site isn't working which I've found out by going on forums etc...

You have to update the wireless adapter driver on the toshiba website. I'm guessing you have an Atheros adapter because those usually have this problem. The driver is not advanced enough to log onto a WPA or WPA2 encryption, WEP will work fine. The driver updates have a 50/50 chance of fixing the problem otherwise you are stuck with WEP.

Link the netgear wgr614v10 to linksys wireless adapter

First you will need to check the wireless settings of the router. Do you have any computer connected to the router ? If not then connect the computer to the router and open the set up page of the router, check the wireless settings of the router.
Once you have all the wireless settings of the router then you can try to connect to the wireless network on your wireless computer.

First configure the wireless router with the SSID and WPA encryption etc and the configure the wireless card in the computer with the wireless router's settings. You will need to check the wireless settings of the router
is there any computer connected to the router ?
If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer.
Router set up page is the page where you can check all the wireless settings of the router.

You wirless switch has to be turned on for that to work. If that is not the issue then sometimes it it best to plug it in to the router and set it up that way. the computer already recognizes the computer and it finds it easier to set up the wirless.

Is it properly set ?
you can try changing the wireless channel on the router.
Or if that doesn't work then you can try to upgrade the firmware of the router.
for this you will need to open the set up interface of the router.

the problem is in router u need to increase the mtu size and channel of the compter ...

log in to router page and change the setting ,,,and make sure the router is not kept device that sends and wave signel ,,like radio TV etc....

if these setting are done the problem would be resolve

what ever the password is for the wireless router when it was set up for 'wireless'. If you are using the wirless router you need to choose which network you are logging onto and then put in the password to get access to it. If you do not know it ask the person who set up the router what password they used.
