Cd dont run on install, when i put the cd n nothing haapens i have a mac

Put the CD in the bin and just plug the camera into the Mac.
Better still, Get yourself a card-reader, plug that into the Mac and plug the picture card from out of the camera into the reader.
There are very few cameras that need CDs on a Mac

Camera won't upload to iphoto

Do what the pros do...use a card reader to download to a folder you create on your desktop.

Not uploading.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

I cant put photos on my computer coolpix ll6

The cord shouldn't be a problem. Open up your explorer ( I don't know what MAC calls it) and drag & drop your pics to where you want them. The programs that come with some cameras are very confusing to use and get the pictures to where you would really like to have them.
