Hi there I have a lg spilt system airconditioner my remote control only works when it wants to, being usually 4 hours after aircond has been put on manually, is there some sort of aligning button on these remotes? and where is it locate? as I do recall having a similar problem with a fujitsui brand at one time and was told to realigned and it worked, batteries have all been changed, remote has not been dropped etc, any suggestions would be greatly appreicated.
Hi there where can i buy lg air conditioner n98.
cheers guy.
Open the front grill of the indoor unit. Check on right hand side for a forced operation switch. This switch is for selecting of either manual operation or remote or auto, select remote, then try. You can also press the reset button on the remote, under the cover with a pen. Hope this helps
Second user with remote problems. Using a test meter, test each battery individually. If batteries are ok, you will have to replace the remotes.
There is no aligning program for the remotes. The only possibility is a bad battery (and they can be bad even when newly bought) this would need to be checked with a test meter. Or you have some carbon build up on the terminals causing a bad connection. There is a reset button which needs to be pressed with a sharp object like a pen nib. Then also make sure that the indoor unit selector switch on the right hand side under the cover is set to "remote" operation

LG Remote Controls, all 3 remote control decided to die at the same time. Replaced batteries but greeted by BLANK screen. Pressed reset knob, the screen comes to life for 2 seconds before going totally blank again.
