Show date I have a vivacam 3315 and I'm trying to get it to show the date on the picture when I print them, any suggestions. Thanks

Turn on the [Date Stamp] setting in the [Rec] menu. See page 83 of this manual.

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. The date (and a lot more information) is saved with every picture in what's called the EXIF data. Whatever program you're using to print should have an option to print the date either on the picture or in the margin (or even on the back). Refer to the documentation for the program.

If you want to see the date on the screen, most picture viewers also can show this data. For example, in Windows Explorer, simply hover the mouse over the picture.

Formatting the card will delete EVERYTHING on the card. I suggest formatting the card each time you download your pics (and make sure they're all on the computer).

You can't get date on the pictures, when viewing them on the screen og on the computer. You can print pictures with date printed on them. Press Menu/OK while viewing the picture on the camera. Select DPOF, select With date. You need to do this with every single picture you want date on. It also requires your printer to be DPOF compatible.

This number does not seem to be correct.

Hi there.
You have to set the time and date to show on the picture using the camera's menu before you take the picture.
You cannot add the time and date to a picture after you have taken it except with photo editing software.
Go into the camera's menu and select the setup option, scroll down to imprint (or something like that) and set it to date and time, press OK or save and from now on the date and time will automatically added to your pictures when you take them.

Note that printing the date will require printing directly from your camera to a printer (Direct Print).

Photofinishers that use the Fuji Frontier system have the option of printing the date on your prints very easily. If they don't know how, try another lab. It can be done. We offer it to our customers (at no extra charge).
