Network can,t get any service unless external auto ant. is pluged in

Ground - negative
12v positive - switchable positive (for example, on when ignition is on, usually connected to accessory side on ignition switch)
auto ant - connected to your electric antenna or to turn on external amplifier.
Memory - connected to always on positive (to keep all your stereo presets )

The manual for this TV can be found here. If you are watching broadcast television, or cable TV service that does NOT require use of a set top "cable box" tuner, you would connect the coax cable from the UHF / VHF antenna or cable into the ANT cable connector on the rear of the TV as shown on page 8 & 9 in the manual.

You would then tell the TV setup to scan for available channels as shown on page 12 of the manual.

If you are using a seperate tuner - like those supplied by Cable TV, Dish, DirectTV, Satellite, etc. you should use (1) the HDMI 1, 2 or 3 inputs (HD) 720P and up; (2) the RGB inputs of AV2 for best picture quality 720P or better (HD), (3 & 4) the AV1 & AV3 (on the side next to HDMI) for 480i and possibly 480P (SD) and finally the ANT connector for 480i. If you have a computer that offers VGA jack to connect to an external monitor, use the PC connector on th erear of the TV to send it HD images.

First of all reset the TV. for that

press and hold the POWER button
on the TV control panel for 5 or more seconds to reset the TV.
Then connect the TV tt any source like outdoor areiel or cable box etc, select the appropriate input, and retune the TV. First of all, connect it to an external antenna, and set it to autotune.

• You must configure the ANT/CABLE input source before

programming channels (-left-hand column).

• If the ANT/CABLE input signal type is set to Cable, the

automatic channel programming process erases channels

that were previously programmed into the TV's memory.

• If the ANT/CABLE input signal type is set to Antenna, the

automatic channel programming process adds newly found

channels to the existing set of programmed channels (and

does NOT erase channels that were previously

programmed into the TV's memory.) To remove an Antenna

source channel from the memory, you must manually delete

it.

• To tune the TV to a channel not programmed in the channel

memory, you must use the Channel Number buttons on the

remote control.

• Programming channels when the ANT/CABLE input is

configured for Cable will take substantially longer than when

the antenna input is configured for Antenna. This is normal;

however, once channel programming is finished, you should

not have to repeat the programming process again unless
your Cable TV service lineup changes significantly.
Find out the received channels are clear or not. If they are clear, your TV is perfect, and the input device you connects ot the TV is faulty. OK.

you are either going to have to make a bootable installation on a USB memory stick or get an external usb CD drive or a network install down the wire. There is no easy way.

If you go to host rooting table select the first one ress menu is the apn ; emgsm.vzw3g.com. Then you should contact Verison network as it is locked by them

Always use an external meter to set SWR. If the ant. warning light comes on it indicates a problem with the SWR. Check it with external meter.

IT seems that the wireless connection might not be connected.
if you facing trouble connecting to the wireless network using the wireless adapter utility then you can switch over to windows utility .

Your laptop resolution is greater than the external monitor can handle. From your laptop, try changing the screen resolution to 800x600, if it works, up the ante to 1024x768. You can bring it up again until you find a comfortable screen resolution. You will eventually stop to a point when your external monitor displays about 80% of the laptop screen. That is, back to your original problem. But you get the idea. Cheers!

Yes, there are several solution to your problem base on your line of sight. If your unit allow you to remove the external Ant., purchase Netgear ANT2409 odbi omni-directional antena indoor/outdoor and screw it on to your unit. Amplified Ant., are also available to get the job done or add a Netgear Wireless access point to your network!
